ALMA MATER

  • For E.C. High we stand to say,
We’re proud of our high school.
We love thee dear and hope to stay
    Abiding in thy rule.
And may we live to honor, cherish
    Proud to call thy name.
May this, our banner, ever fly In all our hearts aflame.
Dear E.C. High when we must leave thee
    We will never fail
To stand by thee through thick and thin, Dear Alma Mater, Hail!

CHORUS We love thee, Alma Mater, dear.

We love thee more each day

We’ll praise thee in our highest tone

To show our love will stay.

Words by Betty Lou Coker, Class of 1953
