  • ~ Emergency Meals to You ~

Clarendon School District Two Department of Food Services is pleased to announce a new program that will deliver meals directly to the homes of students: Emergency Meals-to-You. The initiative, which is a partnership between CSD2, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Baylor University, provides these meals at no cost to the families.

Families with students enrolled at the following schools are eligible to participate in the program:

    • Manning Early Childhood Center
    • Manning Primary School
    • Manning Elementary School
    • Manning Junior High
    • Manning High School

As long as at least one child in the household attends one of the five schools listed, every child in that household is eligible to receive these meals. If a family registers for the Emergency Meals-to-You program, this benefit will not affect any other existing benefit the family is receiving.

HOW DO YOU SIGN UP? All you have to do is fill out an online sign-up form and submit it as soon as possible! Access the online form by clicking this link:

Boxes will be provided on a first come, first served basis, so sign up online today! Let Meals-to-You take away the stress of buying extra groceries during this time.

The enrollment period will start this Monday and will last until Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

Once a family signs up, an Emergency Meals-to-You box will be shipped directly to their door every other week for every child (ages 1-18) in their household. Each box will include 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches, the equivalent of what they would receive at school for two weeks.

All of the items in the Emergency Meals-to-You box are shelf-stable, which means they will not expire anytime soon and do not have to be immediately refrigerated.

The partnership is set to last through June 30, 2020.

Clarendon School District Two Offers Grab-And-Go Meals

Dear Clarendon School District Two Families:

We know that many of you have been consistently participating in the Grab and Go Meal Program during this difficult time. Due to some parents returning back to work, we’ve noticed that lesser parents are showing up to pick up Grab and Go Meals. With that being said, we want to determine, for meal preparation purposes, the level of service we may need to provide from June 8 to June 30, 2020.

Please complete the Google form to assist us in this process.

Your assistance in this endeavor is greatly appreciated and we thank you for your cooperation. Should you have any questions, please contact the Food Service Department at 803-435-4082 or by email at

    Thank you,

    Emelina Alfano

    Director of Food Service

  • Attention Parents!!!

Please join Ellen Hamilton, our Family Services Coordinator, each Monday night for Virtual Vitality Parent Cafe. With the stress of COVID 19, it is important for adults to have the opportunity to have healthy conversations that promote well-being. Vitality Cafés provide a deeper dive into how parents can take care of themselves across six Vitality domains: physical, mental & emotional, spiritual, social, financial, and environmental.
