Good News in the Clarendon Two Family

MHS Drive sponsored by the Beta club on April 26 collected 48 units of blood for the Red Cross.  In the photo is Beta Club sponsor  Kathryn Cronquist and Blood Donors Erica Hicks and Shaquan Brown.
NAACP Expo Recognition Program recognizes the top African American student in Clarendon School Districts. Top Clarendon School District 2 students are Nia Strother, Courtni Young, and Kendra Wicker. Congrats!

Manning Junior High School Student Jacob Richburg's science project won "Top Ten in 7th Grade Projects" in the South Carolina Region II Science and Engineering Fair.  Congratulations Jacob!!
Quadri Bell, 8th grade student at Manning Junior High School is the awarded for excellence.  Quadri is the school winner in the "Lt. Governor's Bridging Generations Writing Award" contest.  Congratulations Quadri!!!

School Breakfast - Good for Kids and Good for Parents

For parents with busy schedules, it can be hard to make sure that kids are eating a healthy breakfast before they go to school in the morning.

Sometimes children aren't hungry right after waking up, and it's hard to find food they like to eat that is also healthy.  Also, some kids refuse breakfast at home but are hungry when they arrive at school.  We have a great breakfast program at school, and ALL students eat FREE!!!

Hay muchos alumnus que no tienen tiempo para desayunar por la manana anters de venir a la escuela pero ahora pueden comer un buen saludable desayuno gratis.
